August 5th

Well it feels like Paris... 70 degrees and rainy. Not gonna complain though, feels amazing compared to Spain. I've never sweat so much in my life!!!! Only 85 there, but feels like 110 with the humidity. Kinda like Raleigh, NC in the summer, but worse. At least I had AC there!!!! It was a blast though, can't wait to go back one day...so worth it!

Tried to do laundry today, you'd be surprised on how difficult this is. First of all, there's not very many places to do it. Then I got there today, finally, after one attempt then bck to the hotel for better directions. This happened in Spain too. Tryin to save some money and walk, instead of cabbin it! So I get there, it's full, it's Sunday... Should've thought of that!!!! And there's no change machine. And no banks open. Good luck getting change from a bar or restaurant here?!? So, guess I'll do it tomorrow:-)

Got a great restaurant recommendation from a bartender today. Just wanted something good, but casual. Went to this little Italian restaurant across the street from the pub down near Clichy, where I've been hanging out. Near the hostel I was at couple weeks ago. Wanted to stay close, so I could see the Olympics tonight. Haven't seen any of it yet, and really want to see Usain Bolt go for gold again... Is it wrong that I'm routing for him, guess I should be routin for USA, but that boy is fast! And he makes it look so easy:-). I think everyone in the world was watching this race!!! Happy we came home with a medal though...

Beef carpaccio for my app, I'm a sucker for carpaccio. I tried to order the salmon but the server said I must have this!!! She was right, with the lobster pasta for dinner, it was perfect! Simple, classic.... But awesome!!! Poured olive oil table side.

This is my dinner, after I was done... Had to take a pic, because that is nothing but olive oil on the bottom of the bowl. Prob why it was so tasty

My dessert, Café, of course

Maybe the best red sauce I've ever had... It was def shrimp, and not lobster, but sooooo good. For sure fresh tomato, with white wine, basil, parm, and some amazing olive oil. With fresh fusilli, awesome... Totally worth it!
