July 8th

Such a great day! We woke and had breakfast with Trevor, Rachel, Mary Beth, and Albert (The Canadians). We went to the Chateau de Versailles, and it was amazing!!!!! We walked thru the gardens, stopped for lunch at a café, and did a private tour of the Chateau. Learned so much and was really pleased with the while experience... Was a little skeptical of the whole thing, even Dad flaked on the first tour of the gardens, but all in all was so cool. Anxious to watch Marie Antoinette and Man in the Iron Mask now that I've been actually been to Versailles and learned a little about the history.

Then we went to dinner at a very nice French restaurant, Drouant, which was soooo good... I need a Thesaurus, running out of ways to explain how cool and amazing my trip is going! Had more Foie Gras, Pâté, and prob the best egg salad of my life... Reminded me of Gram Lois' back in the day. Dad and I split the Suckling Leg of Lamb, which was the best piece of Lamb I've ever had!!!!!! Rediculous wine, and I love hanging with the Canadians... They are the coolest! Just wish we could spend a few more days with them here, it has been great. Off to Spain tomorrow...
